Professional Chemical Peels

If you are ready to achieve softer, more youthful skin, chemical peels may be the treatment for you. A custom chemical peel can leave your facial skin looking and feeling fresh and supple—taking years off your appearance. Chemical peels come in all shapes and sizes. They are used to remove the more stubborn top layers of skin that cause texture and color abnormalities and fine lines. They leave the skin looking more youthful and refreshed, and have minimal downtime or recovery.

Administered by a skin care professional, our full range of superficial peels can help your complexion appear more uniform and renewed—diminishing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and roughness.

Illuminize Peel®

The SkinMedica® Illuminize Peel® helps provide vibrant, radiant looking skin with minimal downtime. Appropriate for treating mild skin imperfections, this peel brightens the overall appearance of skin and helps to create a more uniform complexion. After just one peel, skin will appear more radiant. Since this peel is superficial, patients should not expect to experience peeling after treatment and there is no expected downtime.

Vitalize Peel®

The SkinMedica® Vitalize Peel® will noticeably smooth the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and roughness after just one peel, with more compelling results appearing after three to six peels. This peel is most appropriate for patients with mild-to-moderate skin imperfections that result from skin aging and sun exposure, such as fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and texture. Vitalize Peel® treatments also address skin unevenness that can be caused by acne scarring or other pigmentary changes. This type of peel can leave a yellowish tinge on the skin which normally lasts no longer than two to three hours.

Rejuvenize Peel™

The SkinMedica® Rejuvenize Peel™ smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for patients with moderate to severe skin imperfections. Noticeable improvement can be seen after just one peel with more dramatic results that will appear after three to six peels. Patients should expect to peel after this treatment, which can range from mild flaking to peeling in sheets. Regardless of the amount of peeling, the skin is still sloughing off at an accelerated rate, which will result in a smoother tone and texture and reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The Rejuvenize Peel™ can also address skin unevenness that can be caused by acne scarring or pigmentary changes.
